Rate was $34 minus the Good Sam discount. Staff were VERY friendly. Upon arrival I was led to my site which overlooked one of the lakes. They sell very good pizza in their store and even delivered it to my site just like at home. The store was very well stocked with about anything a person could want (RV supplies, fishing, food, beer, wine, spirits, clothes). They have an outdoor pool which is covered and heated. Many walking trails. I will come back. It is a ways from Interstate 29, but worth the drive. They also have cabins for rent and you can rent golf carts.

The $18 fee was for the Passport America rate. This is by far the best RV park we have stayed in yet. They are constantly upgrading. Most of the pads are newly concreted up and close to level. The utilities all worked perfectly. I never saw anyone cleaning the restrooms, showers, or laundry room, but they were always clean. The laundry room is quite large and what appear to be newer machines. I talked with another camper that rented a car from the park. That is a nice perk. The swimming pool was very clean like everything else and nice. There is a restaurant on site that has a good breakfast buffet for $4.95. I liked the fact that the scrambled eggs were the real thing and not that mix so many use. We will consider thsi our home park the next time we are in Branson. We have stayed at others, but this will be the only one in the future.

First, don't follow a GPS in order to get to this park. It brought us over two rough gravel roads. That is not the fault of the park. The check in was handled very well by a very friendly and courteous lady. They have a nice store which is well stocked with grocery items and other things. They had hot dogs and pizza which we did not try. The had some kind of special with pizza and a pitcher of beer. That sounded good, but we did not have time for it either. The sites were very roomy. All roads and sites inside the park were gravel. Front to back our site was quite level but the gravel was not as wide as it could have been from side to side and we had to level one side more than the other. I was very impressed by the cleanliness of the restrooms, showers, and store. The entire park was very well maintained and very quiet. We did not have any children with us on this trip. They had a very nice pool which was larger than most and like every thing else, very well maintained. There was a nice playground with about everything a kid would want plus one of those bouncy inflated rooms. If we were to be in this area again, we would stay here again.

This is a very quiet place to come. The park hosts were very nice and very visible. They came through the park very often. There is a access controlled gate which we like. There is a small like on site with pan fish in it. This is one of our favorite places to come in the Kansas City area. The swimming beach and boat ramp and marina is within a short drive.

The nightly rate for full hookups is $25 minus a $2 per night discount for handicap. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Firewood was priced at $4.50 for approximately 15 pieces which is far better than a lot of places we have been. We stayed on Memorial Day weekend and the campground was very quiet at night and only the sound of children playing during the day. They have a laundry room but we did not use it or even look at it. Blue Springs lake is within five minutes of the park. We have stayed here in past years and will definitely stay here again.

We parked in the back row which was right next to the railroad tracks and at times noisy. If we had needed it, the side was very well shaded. The staff was VERY helpful and friendly. The restrooms and showers were very CLEAN. The new Branson Landing along the lake (looks like a river to me) is within walking distance. It is a bit of a walk but a lot to look at along the way. We will definitely stay there again.

We had a wonderful week long stay here in 2008. It is a very quiet and peaceful campground well away from the highway. When we were there, the road in was good but gravel. I see that it is now asphalt. That will be real nice. We enjoyed the pool. The rest rooms and showers were kept clean. We used the laundry facilities early in the day and they were not busy. One night during the week they have a steak night and grill steaks. We had other plans and missed it but our neighbor said it was GREAT. If in the area again, we will definitely stay there.

This is a state park campground so the amenities are few. The restrooms on the whole are kept clean. I haven't used the showers. We stay here about one weekend a month during the summer months. Our cell phone (Verizon) does not have coverage here so it is a nice break and get away. Sprint and a couple of others do have reception. There is a lake within the park, but the swimming area is always closed due to the Canadian geese and what they leave behind (:. People still use it regardless of the closed signs, but after talking with the ranger, I would not. There is not a whole lot close by, but it is a nice place to chill out.
